HELLO!
I’m Patrick Lawrence.

I’m a Los Angeles based professional Film Editor originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Since 2014, I have edited 16 Feature Films, including Scare Me (Shudder) and Clara’s Ghost (MGM/Orion), both of which world premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

In addition to having 7 films premiere at Sundance, projects that I have edited have screened worldwide at Cannes, SXSW, Tribeca, Outfest, AFI Fest and more.

Outside of theatrical, I am also an accomplished Television editor, recently serving as Lead Editor on Seasons 1 & 2 of Bonding (Netflix), as well as the second season of This Close for SundanceTV.

In my free time, I am an avid Hockey fan boy (Let’s Go Blues!) and I have a reputation for having one of the largest Ghostbusters memorabilia collections in all of Southern California… So much so, that my home office has been lovingly referred to as the “Ghost Cave” by fellow filmmakers.

I believe that Filmmaking is a collaborative art that succeeds on the backs of those that you surround yourself with. I pride myself on being a passionate collaborator, co-worker, and friend - who will stop at nothing to make sure your project leaves my care in the best shape possible.
